What happened in 2008?
When 2008 came, the fengshui masters predicted it to be a bad year due to some astrology thingy. True enough, bad things came one after another. So many heart breaking events have happened around me that I don't know where to get it started.
I consider myself quite in luck already, for not having any major unpleasant incident befalling on me. *Fingers crossed* (there's still like 8 hours left before 2008 ends) ...WELL unless you count enlisting into army as a bad thing? Anyway, following what I did last year, here's a recap of 2008:
Though 2009 will only begin in a few hours' time, I can't wait for it to be over and proceed to 2010.... ....ORD LOH! 
Flesh Imp 8th Anni
Okay I've officially got 1 day left in 2008 to blog 4-days-worth of blog entries, so you know what? I'd decided that I'll just take my time to blog and backdate the entries if possible.
Anyway, like previous years, I got my invites from Claudia and attended Flesh Imp's anniversary party at Zouk. They were celebrating their 8th this year!  Yeap, Electric Pop's the theme, to which I super love!  Oh, pardon me for the speech bubbles throughout the blog entry. I was feeling a little doodle-ly when I edited the pictures.  I realised that way I hooked the light stick to my chain made it look like a logo we're all so familiar of.  The show started waaaaaaay later than it was supposed to, and it wasn't very impressive either. But I guess these Mambo dancers saved the night!  Check them out! Someone teach me those moves already! Oh yeah. Oh my goodness EMILY! Why are you in shiny tights and doing exercises on the stage?!  LOL  More pics that underwent my bad photoshop editing... Recent Reels
   So I was at Old School awhile ago to catch Pulau Hantu...  Wanted to watch 18 Grams of Love with the extra "talk back session" with the film maker at first, but it was fully booked! Oh, if you didn't know, Sinema Old School is like this hub for local film screenings, so if you wanna support local films now, you'll know where to go! So anyway, my fellow BMT mate, Audi, was part of the production of Pulau Hantu. Pretty cool to see his name in the credits! But he was complaining how bad the show is when I told him I'd watched it. Well! I beg to differ, 'cos I thought it was waaaay better than a particular local film that made it into screening at GV recently. ...Okay, maybe I shouldn't compare films of different genre. Anyway, I've been catching quite a few movies lately, here's a recap!  Caught this at one of the Nuffnang's movie screening.Pretty nice story and very hilarious. Though I still can't fathom how Norah got an orgasm with the pants on. ...Nick's fingers must be really good, huh?  Kinda lame in the later part of the movie when Chloe reached this Chihuahua-land. NO MAS??? My fave among all the recent watch. 101% cuteness from both Bolt and Rhino the fat hamster. But I feel that everything nice about this movie was somewhat shown in the trailer already. Great show, but I think I've watched better vampire movies before.Can't the humans in the movie tell those vampires are too pale to be human? Anyway, love the line, "You're my brand of heroin." WHERE'S YOUR GUEST BLOGGER???!!!!
...yeah that's the question people have been asking me. So anyway, I realised I was way too picky on my guest blogger. I thought I wouldn't really care what the guest blogger will write, but in fact, this is MUA BLOG! Of cos I care what is going to be written here! Ok you can call me NIAO. I was too niao on the post by the guest blogger that it might not be interesting enough, so I didn't approve it. Not his fault, just me being an asshat. Oh well, it's another empty promise again... Hmmm, I'll just make another promise to make up to it. Haha Enough said, I'd alot of overdue pictures to blog! So let's get the ball rolling with this entry. So awhile ago, I went to JUICE magazine's 10th anniversary party at zouk. (...why do all the companies like to hold party at zouk?!)  That's obviously not my hand; it's Molemole! And credits of all the pics here goes to her. Thanks Nad for bring me along and Claudia for the tix!  THEY WERE GIVING OUT FREE FROLICK YOGHURT ICE CREAM!  Too bad the VIP area was freaking far from the booth, if not I would prolly finish up the entire machine of yoghurt ice cream. I'd walked back and forth to get them, each time holding two cups of Frolick, and by the 3rd time I was too paiseh to go back again... LOL  Oh this picture of the booth reminded me of something annoying that happened. The 2nd time I was back at the booth, this girl on the left, asked me if they were giving free alcohol that night. And since I was the on the VIP invites, it's free flow of Tiger beer and Bacardi. Looking at them busily serving the yoghurt, I asked her and the other girl if they need me to help them get any. She asked what they had. I told her. Then she turned to the other girl and asked what she wanted. And the other girl gave me a weird look and said "Whatever that's nice" in a dissing manner. It feels as though she thought I was trying to hit on them! OH PUR-LEASE! There are tons of other people out there on the dance floor, I wouldn't even be bothered about them if I didn't want any Frolick yoghurt! To think I was nice enough to help them order and bring the alcohol all the way from the VIP area to the booth, the least she could say is Thanks, right? Brrrrr. I get so turned off by people who think as if they are sooooo great.  Oh, and the party was baaaaad. It felt more like a concert of The Whitest Boy Alive, than a 10th anni party. It was just bands and songs and bands and songs.  Took this picture and Nadia said something like, "omg it's Sweets VS Yebber!" ...so we ended up taking another shot!  If you didn't know, they are part of their online food show, Lunch with Yebber MORE IMPORTANTLY, I would think of it as a friendly thing than a rival foodshow okay! And they're already done with all their 14 episodes! WHEREAS....... I'd just rolled out episode 3.........yesterday! Okay, since I'm at it. Yup, I'd finish the post production of episode 3 like a couple of weeks ago, I thought I could do a few more before rolling them out week by week. But YOU KNOW, time's never on my side! So yeah, check out the LATEST episode that was shot like MONTHS AGO! LOL, the irony.  Some production notes: Till date I still cringe at my hosting/acting. I know it's bad lah, sorry to put the viewers through the shit. Hahaha. Anyway, I find the editing of this episode is odd at some places. AND it's a rather long 14 mins, so do grab some popcorn to sit through it. ANYHOO, do leave your comments over there after watching k! Alright that's it! I'll blog again soon. I PROMISE! LOL
